Program 1 - Roots and Dive Worship Service
The goal of our Roots and Dive Worship Service is to help students begin, grow in, and apply faith to their lives in everyday situations. This is the primary program of our student ministry - it's the one we want every teenager to come to. It's our goal that there is never a dull moment in our Roots and Dive Worship Service!
The components of this worship service are...
180 Band led worship
An Episode of "Heart Break High"
"Who Am I" student interviews
A Biblical Message for Students based on topics they face
It's tough to describe a service like this, we'd love it if you came out and gave it a try for a few weeks! I guarantee you that it could change your life forever!

Program 2 - Small Groups
The goal of Small Groups is to help students grow closer to God and with other students. Our Small Groups happen immediately after our Roots and Dive Worship Service on Wednesday nights. The three things that happen every week in our small groups are 1. Reading and Discussing the Bible (based on the topic of the Worship Service), 2. Praying with and for one another, 3. Sharing the highlight and low-light of our week.
This ministry is incredibly important! It will help you talk and hear from other students about the Youth service and figure out more and more how faith should be lived out in the world.

Program 3 - Foundations
The goal of Foundations is to help students grow in their faith beyond just Wednesday nights or Sunday mornings. Foundations is the program that will help anyone learn, interact with, and know the basic foundational principles of the Christian faith. This program is designed to be done at home either online or via DVD's available at church, whenever your schedule allows. At least once a week a new video teaching will be posted to YouTube on the NBUMCyouth account and subsequent DVDs will be available at church. These videos will teach the specifics on a certain aspect of the foundational principles of faith.
To get started with Foundations copy and paste the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0VyysZIC0Mg and watch the first session, or send email or call Joe to ensure you will get a copy of a DVD.

Program 4 - The Anchor
The Anchor is designed to anchor your faith by using your specific gifts, talents, passions, and resources to build God's Kingdom here on the earth. The Anchor includes a spiritual gifts assessment, a personal consultation with youth ministry staff, and anything else you might need to get started serving God in the way He designed you to serve! It can be started anytime you're ready.
